Hi! Welcome to my blog about my family tree. I began my genealogy journey back in my teens, mostly as a way to sort out my all my cousins, aunts & uncles who all lived in a different province...but I was mostly just dabbling in it then. It wasn't until I discovered genealogy research on the internet that I really got serious with it, because it became so much easier to find the time when I could research from home. And now I've decided to use the internet to share what I've learned with the rest of my family.

I am 5th generation Canadian from one branch, 3rd generation from the others. My ethnic make-up is Icelandic from my Dad's side and Scottish and German from my mother's. Most of my research has been on my mother's side of the family.
