My name is Shelly, and I live in Bellevue Nebraska! Yes, I'm a Cornhusker Fan through and through!! I am newly married to James, which supports and encourages my every goofy project. I'm a mother of 2 boys, 15 year old Christian and 9 year old Jaylen. Christian helps me whenever I can't figure out a certain tool and Jaylen is always eager to learn something new! I work full time at a local hospital in the Heart Monitoring Unit which pays the bills for now. But my true passion is working in the garage and junkin!

I LOVE the phrase "Creativity is Contagious, Pass it ON!" because I have gotten a lot of friends and family excited about junkin and re-doing things. So my cousin has encouraged me to start my first blog!

I felt like it was a great opportunity to share our home, family, and any of my crazy junkin treasure adventures.

My taste is pretty simple and it changes all the time. I think I have changed our living room decor 3-4 times in the last year and a half! I just want our home to be warm and welcoming to anyone that wants to visit.

I am one that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. I LOVE the idea of re-doing something old and making it into something neat and creative for the house or yard! I have always been a home design and decor junkie! (Actually my dream career, maybe someday) When we moved in with James, I was told to make his house a home.....and I actually just took it over! Even the garage is full of my projects or work in progress projects.
