Shelly Hartman is a digital music professional with 17 years of experience in sales, marketing & artist/label relations. She has a reputation as a phenomenal relationship builder knowledgeable in digital sales & marketing strategy.

Shelly has served as Sr. Manager of Content Merchandising for Beatport in Los Angeles, overseeing the merchandising staff in Berlin, LA and Denver. Prior to Beatport, Shelly managed the merchandising team at T-Mobile, overseeing three music & video game storefronts, handling Label Relations and merchandising initiatives including creating editorial programs like March is Metal Month & Black Music Month. Previous to her time spent in digital sales, Shelly spent 7 years in online digital marketing at various record labels including Priority Records, Capitol Records, and Universal Music Group.

Shelly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has taught a class on DIY Music Business Entrepreneurship at UCLA.
