Student in Spain
I am a Cum Laude Honor Graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Romance Languages majoring in Spanish and Portuguese.
At present, I am pursuing further studies as an MBA student of Sport Management in Spain. As an avid sports enthusiast, I am seeking the opportunity to gain greater insight and knowledge into the vast operations of the sport management industry. I am confident that my proficient language abilities can greatly enhance the international sport business environment. My career interests lead me toward the exhilarating prospect of the planning and organization of sporting events across local and international levels. Speaking in dreams, I would like to be a tournament director of an event on the Association of Tennis Professionals World Tour or a member of the International Olympic Committee tasked with the review of applications of aspiring host cities for the Olympic Games. In addition to event management interests, I am a strong proponent of utilizing sport as a vehicle for the fostering of positive social change and community development at the grass-roots level. I would relish the opportunity to positively impact a community on foundations of the binding power of sport.
Previously, I have served various volunteer roles in numerous sports functions and events at both the collegiate and professional level, thus elevating my knowledge and experience. I am a passionate individual with strong motivations and an eager willingness to learn. I believe that the invaluable opportunity of studying in Spain will serve as a prime opportunity to immerse myself in a vibrant, sporting culture that reflects my passions and will undoubtedly present myself many opportunities for future personal and professional growth.
