Shelson Ferrari ∴
Software Engineer in São Paulo - Brazil
∴I’m a Certified Software Engineer and Full-Stack Architect with 23 years of experience designing, evolving, and sustaining large-scale distributed systems. I build platforms that run under real pressure — low latency, high concurrency, and zero tolerance for failure. My focus is on simplicity, predictability, and operational excellence.
∴Throughout my career, I’ve worked across different environments — from startups to major enterprises such as NTT Data / Santander, NTConsult / Banco Macro, CERC, Favo, Vitplay, Tokio Marine, and Banco BV. My role has always been the same: to bring order to complexity, eliminate fragility, and make systems reliable and understandable again.
∴My technical background combines Java, Node.js, Go, and Python in backend engineering; React and Angular on the front end; and strong foundations in DevOps, automation, and observability. I’ve also led BPM and workflow automation initiatives with Camunda and IBM BAMOE (jBPM + Kogito). On the data side, I’m fluent in PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and DynamoDB, designing architectures that remain resilient even under failure.
∴With over 70 technical certifications (AWS, IBM, Oracle, and others), I believe credentials mean little unless they translate into clarity, discipline, and practical impact. I approach architecture as both an engineering craft and a long-term responsibility — every system we build must serve the people who depend on it.
∴I value clean reasoning, simplicity over trend, and autonomy through knowledge. My leadership style is straightforward: lead by example, document what matters, communicate clearly, and keep the team focused on what actually moves the product forward.
∴After two decades in this field, I still get the same satisfaction I did when I was a kid building my first programs: watching something I created work — efficiently, predictably, and with purpose.
