Shemika L. Moore graduated of Johnson & Wales University; Organizational Leadership Master’s Program in 2006 and received her BS in Business Management with a focus in Human Resources in 2002. She is able to connect small agencies with free assistance of a high caliber as well as being able to do it herself. Additionally, Shemika is a focused, energetic and committed leader who eagerly seeks new challenges. She commands the respect of her colleagues and is selfless in her efforts to organize, manage and advance any organization to which she commits her time. Shemika is able to envision and execute projects seamlessly. Her work is accurate, timely and organized and she is able to work excellently in the team structure. Also, Shemika is a woman of rare maturity, seriousness, and personal integrity. She was one of the founding members of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Urban League of Rhode Island Young Professionals and Johnson & Wales University NAACP College Chapter; she cares deeply for the community in Rhode Island. She has elected to become a leader and is a relentless advocate in our community. Shemika has contributed her time, efforts, and networks to the betterment of the Rhode Island community. In the past, Shemika volunteered with the Providence In-town Churches Association as its Vice President and Communications Chairperson. Shemika arranged student groups at Johnson and Wales University to work with PICA for their website and brochure design projects. Shemika did all the publicity for fundraisers, turning a dull notice into an inviting invitation, and is working on publicity for its current projects. To quote PICA Fundraising Chair, “The best thing I did was to invite Shemika to our meeting!” She has a remarkable maturity. Today, Shemika directs her efforts towards consulting with the following organizations to help meet their Program Development & Social Media needs: National Coalition of 100 Black Women Rhode Island Change, LadyBugs Cleaning LLC, Mocha's Pet Salon, Dare to Dream, NAACP Providence Branch and Mcculey Village.
