Shannon Roberts

My name is Shannon, and I love writing, travel, photography, and animals. I graduated LSU in May 2015. While at LSU, I studied in London and Edinburgh during the summer. It was the experience of a lifetime. I love my family and friends, and I am a full-time Christian.

My dream is to work in the voice over business doing commercials, audio books, documentaries, and whatever else the opportunity holds.

I currently work as a staff writer for the American Press in Lake Charles, La. I have also worked as a freelance writer, newsroom assistant at a radio network, contributing news writer, and as a radio reporter for 91.1 KLSU.

I love newspaper reporting, being able to tell the stories of others through my fingertips. Although I have dreams that may lead me elsewhere, I truly enjoy my job and the people it lets me meet.
