Living life to the fullest and being happy is what I live for!

I am a reporter/multimedia journalist. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Sports Journalism Certification from the nationally accredited Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I was born and raised in Houston, TX!

I want to become a sports broadcaster with hopes of one day being at the round table or owning my own sports company.

I am a contributor for two online sports blogs. One is SportsTalkFeed and the other is HerLeagueOnline, which is a sports blog for aspiring women journalist. I mainly cover college football and basketball for both blogs.

I am currently a student assistant for the Women's and Gender program at UNT.

I have been writing for about four years. I started my senior year in high school. I was on the yearbook and newspaper staff. My freshman year in college, I was a staff writer for the Kilgore Community College newspaper, The Flare. I was promoted to Sports Editor my sophomore year. I've won several awards with The Flare (student ran newspaper). I graduated with my Associates Degree in Mass Communications in May 2013.

My favorite part about journalism is being able to tell someone’s story. Sports are what I am most passionate about. I figured if you have to work the rest of your life, why not do something you love? I like every aspect of the different sports. But I do cover other areas of news

I’m a passionate and committed journalist. And I still have more to learn. But if you stick with me throughout my journey, you won't be disappointed!
