Ernie was born and raised in the serene setting of rural Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended Eisenhower High School and later went to Texas Tech University on an athletic scholarship.He received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and was in international banking in Dallas until he returned to dental school.Ernie enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
