Hi, I am Sherif known by friends, family and travel buddies as Reef. I hail from the "305" in eclectic Miami, Florida. I'm an explorer/adventurer masquerading as an educator in Abu Dhabi. I am personable, progressive-thinking, light-hearted & philosophical. I love, love, love traveling to my heart's content, soaking up good music & indulging in some diverse culinary masterpieces. My ideal evening is to jive to the soul-stirring muse of jazz and bust a move on the dance floor without remorse😄.

When the Travel Bug Bit Me

It was in 2001 as a college sophomore that I traveled outside of the United States for the first time. I leaped at the opportunity to travel to Europe on an educational excursion. I was thrilled to visit some of the most intriguing and captivating cities I have only read and drooled about. I visited the historic and vastly metropolitan city of London, the poetic village of Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, the lush green landscapes of Cardiff, Wales. The iconic city of Paris with its French Baroque architecture, Versailles and it's opulent Versailles Palace. I ended my maiden sojourn in Munich, Germany and neighboring Salzburg in Austria.

Still high off my experiences with culture and history, I vowed to travel again. The feeling I get from traveling can appropriately be described as cathartic. It is my goal to situate myself in such a way so as to travel as frequently as I can. Follow me as I traverse across the globe, one vacation at a time, one city at a time.
