For the past two decades after transitioning to high tech from academic / medical research, I have worked with Silicon Valley start-ups and entrepreneurs. I really enjoy the combination of strategic planning and hands-on execution required in the start-up environment. I have also worked at large global enterprises such as VERITAS Software, NetApp and Symantec. Throughout my career I have fulfilled my creative side by founding my own businesses, starting with Iris Transcription & Word Design in the typewriter-to-Wordstar days, Market pH, circle8media, Circle of Om, and the Content Continuum Agency.

I also love just about anything that takes me outdoors, from walking my dogs to yoga retreats to white-water rafting. My personal mantra is to be useful to others. I strive to appreciate each and every day, find joy and beauty wherever I can, and create as many new experiences as possible in this ephemeral lifetime.
