Raising children gave me the opportunity to become immersed in their Waldorf school’s community as an event coordinator: 12 years head of the annual nonprofit multicultural festival committee, co-coordinator of several dinner fundraisers to pay wages of creative arts teachers (crab feed, wine tasting, etc).
Redistribute food and resources to homeless not only out of compassion, but because maximizing food value is sustainable.
