The vision of the organization is to “Impact Women in the Community through the Ministry of Healing”. The organization believes that this could be done through love and compassion offering help and resources to the women in the community. The organization has implemented a Scarves of Heart Drive Campaign for women with Cancer, and hope that this would be an ongoing campaign moving forward. The organization has served Barbara Karmanos and Beaumont Hospital cancer units and would like to serve other hospital, in the metro area. The organization is currently starting its 2nd year of the Scarves of Heart Drive which, would consist of new and gently used scarves for the donation drive in October. Although the organization was founded in 2014, the passion to serve started years before when Sherrice found herself in need and could not find the resources available. Sherrice believes as a servant of God her duty is to reach those who are hurting and are afraid to seek the help needed. She’s a mother of 4 children who she loves as well as a grandmother of one granddaughter who has stolen her heart.

Sherrice White-Johnson received her undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management from American InterContinental University. She’s currently hold a Masters of Art Degree in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary (ATS) – Detroit Campus. She’s also graduated from Grace Ministerial Institute and is an ordained minister through her church organization. She plans to continue her education at Capella University online where she will pursue her Ph.D. in Counseling Supervision and Education. With this degree she’s hoping that she would be able to mentor the new Counselors through Supervision as well as using the degree as a faculty at a University in the State of Michigan. She’s excited about the new doors that are opening up for her. She has worked hard to accomplish her goals and she believes that she would not have been able to achieve this without GOD in her life. She also, owes it to her family’s encouragement which helped her reach her goals.
