Howdy, I’m Sherri. I am 38 yrs old. I have a disability called Intellectual. I also have type 2 diabetes awhile bunch of other medical stuff going on. I don't let my disability's get in the way.Im very independent can do a lot on my own. I am with a program called arc of ocean county. I will be going to supervise apartments which I can't wait.

I am adopted by my uncle n aunt but I really don't talk to them personal reasons.

I have meet my real bother in 07 . My parents I never meet because they passed away.

Over the years I have been though quit a lot. Been through physical abuse by my adopted moms ex husband who passed away. I was able to finish school n high school. Last year I went through a class through the mental health assision Consumer Connections Core training for the mentally ill. Too be a peer support. What I really is to be advocate for the disabilities. I want to help clients and show them there not alone. I had many jobs last couple of months interviews. Got turn down yea it bother me but I'm not giving up. I survived being pick on by a client or clients who like to talk about me or they think I talk about them but really I don't. I'm in my little own world fighting my own damons.
