She’s been on both the creative and business sides of floral design and events since receiving her Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Planning from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Humanities from Golden Gate University.

“My goal is not only to capture the mood of the event, but also pick up on the fun qualities of the honored guest or guests. I’ll dig and dig until I discover what makes that the honoree special, or, for a corporate event, what is that company’s unique culture. With my client’s permission, I push the envelope. When I see guests smile and nod their head and say ‘Yes, you nailed it!’ that’s when I know I’ve done my job!”

Sherrilyn has a passion for learning about new techniques and emerging floral styles so she actively pursues opportunities for continuing education and training.
