Sherri Seirmarco
I was born and raised in the Hudson River Valley of New York State, where my parents still reside. I have one brother, who lives in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters. From as early as I can remember, I aspired to work with young children.
I attended college in New Hampshire, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, I worked for two years as a teacher in New Hampshire's Head Start program.
I then moved to Colorado, where I worked as a preschool teacher in Breckenridge, my home for seven years. Seeking professional advancement, I then accepted a position as an Assistant Director of a larger center in Dillon, Colorado. After my first year, I was promoted to Executive Director and headed that organization for six additional years.
In October 2008, I relocated to the Denver metropolitan area to serve as Director of Education for the Goddard School in Broomfield, Colorado, where I remained until in January 2011.
