Sherri Turnquist

I am a wife and mother to a beautiful family. 2 Thess. 5:16-18 is a very important verse in my life. My heart and soul belong to Jesus. I love gardening, eating clean, exercising, reading and blogging. I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I teach Dyslexic student skills to help them become successful in their everyday lives in reading, writing and spelling. I am blessed to do what I have been called to do! I struggled through school, thinking I was dumb. Until the day I attended a seminar about mulitple intellegences, as a first year teacher, I realized I wasn't "dumb"- as I had labeled myself for so many years. Ever since I had that realization and changed my way of thinking about myself, I have been helping students realize their potential so they can utilize their strengths to be successful in all they attempt throughout their lives.
