Sherry Heins

I grew up knowing Jesus. My parents taught me to be honest, hardworking, devoted to Christ and love people. I always knew I wanted to work with people, but wasn't sure what that looked like. While attending Biola University, I felt God’s call on my life to pursue full time ministry. I'm excited to be graduating in May with a degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Children. My ministry opportunities have consisted of volunteering at Mariners Church, being a team member of the Honduras water project, interning for Solidarity, and currently a Children's Ministry Program Coordinator for Mariners Church Irvine.

I have a passion for people, teaching God’s word to kids, and discipling youth. I believe this is done best through relationships focused around worshiping God. I enjoy spending time with family and friends no matter what we are doing, and it is an added bonus when that takes me to a new restaurant, high in the mountains, or line dancing.
