Enjoying a multi-faceted career in arts and music management, Sheryl is one of few dynamic individuals to have such broad experiences in the creative industries. With an extensive training and solid background in music publishing, music copyright & licensing, event production, business management and curatorial programming, not to mention a PIANIST, Sheryl is determined to break down all boundaries to create a platform for arts sustainability.

A former record label senior executive, Sheryl oversaw the Far East operations of the world's leading classical music label and distribution as General Manager. Other positions include Artistic Development Manager at Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Marketing Director at Carl Fischer Music Publishing. While in New York, she co-founded/produced Music on MacDougal, a creative 'hub' for artistic discoveries and adventurous music series dedicated to ground-breaking interdisciplinary collaborations. Sheryl also founded Chiczando Concept Ltd., an art event management consultancy specializing in live entertainment, branding services and productions.

As a professional pianist, Sheryl gave her orchestral debut with Utah Symphony under the baton of Joseph Silverstein at age 13. She attended the Juilliard School shortly thereafter. Sheryl gave her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in 2007. Throughout her piano career, she has garnered awards and international acclaim for her solo, orchestral and chamber music performances across Asia, Europe, Canada and the US. She performs regularly with artists from Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony, New York and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestras. Sheryl currently performs with her chamber music ensemble, the Anonymous Quartet.

Sheryl began her piano studies with Katherine Lu and Eleanor Wong. In 1995, at the invitation of the late Maria Curcio, a renowned piano pedagogue and last pupil of the legendary Artur Schnabel, Sheryl moved to study with her in London, UK. She completed her education at New York University and Yale University where she was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund. Notable teachers include Peter Frankl, John Perry, Eduardus Halim and Christopher Elton.

Sheryl served on the Adjunct Faculty of Piano at New York University; Artist Faculty of Chamber Music for New York Youth Symphony and The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
