Sheryl Maloney

I have been in the interactive industry for over 13 years. My passion is social media with an emphasis on mobile technology and I also have an extensive background with interactive strategy. My experience has included managing the development of custom e-commerce sites, email marketing campaigns, interactive web sites and blogs and most recently managing an agile software team developing B2C event and email marketing software. Throughout my career I have served as a Producer, Sr. Project Manager, Director of Account Management, Corporate Relations Manager, and Software Product Manager. I have managed a large variety of client sizes and budgets from start-ups to fortune 1000 companies.

I currently reside in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two boys and regularily take advantage of the wonderful wilderness surrounding our little urban hub. I have taken the last year off from the industry, due to the birth of my second son so that I can focus on raising both of my children.

Besides enjoying each day with my children, I spend my free time immersed in all things social media and mobile technology. I blog about my experiences at Appatomy.com. I plan to return to the workforce full time in the summer of 2011 and I am very excited about this time in the industry as there is so much positive energy and momentum surrounding mobile technology.
