Grew up in Flint, Flushing, Spring Arbor and starting 6th grade, Port Huron MI. Have 3 great kids, Holly, BJ and Andrew, 8 grandkids. I can't wait to start gardening again this spring! Port Huron Northern High School, class of '77.

I will graduate with my Bachelor's of Human Service in the spring of 2014. I am a substitute teacher in our area.

I am married to Richard Simons, street rod enthusiast! (And a very nice man, as well.) We love travel and exploring thrift and antique shops.

On my Dad's side, I am a Sergent from the Flint area. Before my grandfather was born near Frankenmuth, his mother and father were from West Branch, MI area. My Grandmother was a Manzer. Her mother was Lucrecia Crow, from near Mesick/Copemish. My great-grandfather was John Manzer. The Manzers came from NY.

On my Mother's side I am a Spencer, My Great grandparents were Anna and George Dafoe. My great- grandmother's maiden name was Bubel, from the thumb area in MI. My great grandparent Spencers were from the Lapeer area.
