Shey Sabripour

A seasoned Engineer and Team Leader, Shey Sabripour currently acts as Chief Executive Officer and President of Altumaxis Technologies Inc., the company he established in 2010. In this role, Mr. Sabripour endeavors to position the firm as a leading provider of renewable energy platforms that demonstrate a commitment to environmental protection and adaptive interaction. Shey Sabripour brings to his company years of experience in high technology design, as well as a comprehensive academic background. He holds a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University and has completed additional training at institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Maryland, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Before founding Altumaxis Technologies, Shey Sabripour enjoyed a lengthy tenure with Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. After joining the firm in 1986, he began to impress his superiors and earn positions of increasing responsibility. In 1992, for instance, he accepted a promotion to Product Team Leader, a role that required him to oversee the A2100 Power Products. Mr. Sabripour later became head of both advanced development and advanced programs before becoming Program Director of Agile Payload. In the latter role, he maintained responsibility for conceptualizing and introducing key technological developments, and he also held oversight for scheduling and contractual matters. Shey Sabripour concluded his career with Lockheed Martin as Director of Spacecraft Design.

Shey Sabripour amassed a number of notable accomplishments at Lockheed Martin. His designs enjoyed prominence in programs such as the Mars Observer, Mars 01, and Deep Space 1, as well as Trident II and IMAGE. He also earned several company awards for his technical proficiency, and he received the 1994 AT&T Skynet Apogee Award. The author of more than 100 papers, he was recently recruited by World Scientific Press to write the textbook Fundamentals of Communications Satellites.
