Growing up, I spent lots of time in the hospital, for my grandmother, and aunt works in the same hospital. I watched patients go into rooms with pain and sorrow across their faces, and come out with relief and hope. I'd think "She wiped away their pain!" and think of them as my personalized superhero. I am currently a student at the University of Georgia in pursuit of a Cellular Biology degree, and hope to become a Physician's Assistant after graduation. I'd like to eventually join programs such as Doctors without Boarders, and Volunteer around the world.
