Medical doctor, Public Health Communication & Marketing specialist, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in advocacy for public health, reproductive Health, women empowerment and human rights,

I am currently working as a Public Health & Medical Broadcaster at Voice of America (VOA) while focusing on culture-specific women's health and equal rights issues.

I have particular expertise in creating multimedia-training materials concerning women's health, empowerment, mental health among other social determinants of health. I have covered, reported and anchored live medical programs, produced over 1000 TV reports, written articles and done interviews for VOA's- Persian service.

My ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, broad experience as a health and human rights advocate, and excellent organizational skills makes me a perfect fit to play an active role at any organization dealing with behavioral health issues such as STD's, drug abuse, child abuse and domestic violence.

I am bilingual in Persian (native language) and English. I am fully able to communicate in Dari.

I graduated from Tehran University Medical School in 1990, received my first master degree in Hospital Administration in 2003 and second master__ MPH from George Washington University; School of Public Health and Health Services” in 2012.
