Segun Arulogun Gabriel (Shigosag)

Segun Arulogun Gabriel, known as Shigosag, is a young Nigerian entrepreneur, civil engineering graduate, forex trader, self-taught coder, and chess enthusiast based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
He is the Executive Director of Wordlab Farms and Enterprises, an agro-allied business specializing in agricultural produce supply, catfish farming, merchandise/contracts, and farming-related services.

Education:
Segun attended Oke-Ibadan High School, Ibadan, where he completed his Junior Secondary School education from 2007 to 2010 and Senior Secondary School education (Commercial Class) from 2010 to 2013.

Between 2013 and 2014, Segun worked as a computer operator at Alexander D Great, where he learned basic computer operations, software installation, technical support, printing services, system formatting, and computer maintenance. He Helped maintain business records using manual logbooks (pen and paper notebook). Assisted with sourcing and handling basic computer accessories and parts.

From 2014 to 2016, he worked at Abi-Salam Filling Station (Formerly Texaco, Greenspring Hotel) as a petrol attendant and mini-mart sales assistant.
He later served as Acting Manager between 2016 and 2017, where he managed daily financial records for fuel sales and mini mart operations and supervised LPG gas sales and ensured accurate recording and accountability, and handled fuel account records for corporate organizations like MTN, AHRF, ITF using voucher-based transactions. Prepared and balanced large-scale fuel accounts and coordinated with typists for report preparation and verified printed records for accuracy before submission and submitted official fuel reports at MTN Nigeria operations/technical yard, Agodi, Ibadan (supporting engineers and fleet operations)

In 2025, Segun worked as a Customer Experience Auditor in the banking sector for First Bank of Nigeria through a third-party contractor.
His responsibilities included conducting mystery shopping assessments across Firstbank branches, evaluating customer service quality across multiple departments, assessing staff responsiveness, product knowledge, branch compliance with customer service standards and complaint resolution speed, and submitting structured feedback reports with video-based documentation.
This role further strengthened his observation, reporting, and analytical skills.

Civil Engineering and Internship:
In 2018, Segun completed a civil engineering internship at Oyo State Housing Corporation, where he gained practical exposure to engineering and construction-related activities.
Although he is not currently practicing professionally in the engineering field, his engineering background contributed to his analytical and problem-solving approach.

Coding and Technology:
In 2021, Segun began learning computer programming through freeCodeCamp and other online resources.
As a self-taught coder, he developed interest in technology, automation, artificial intelligence tools, and Expert Advisors (EAs) related to forex trading systems.

Entrepreneurship and Other Interests:
Segun previously operated a small fish farming business and remains interested in agriculture and agro-allied ventures through Wordlab Farms and Enterprises.
