Mr. Koshy is a dual qualified lawyer with extensive experience in cross-border transactions. He is qualified as an advocate in India and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
His practice focuses on corporate transactions, particularly joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and commercial dispute resolution.
He has advised several corporates and private equity funds on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investments strategies for emerging markets like India, the Middle East and North Africa.
He received a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law School of India in 2004 and was awarded the Honorable Justice V. G. Ramachandran Gold Medal for Excellence. Thereafter, he completed his clerkship at the Supreme Court of India working with Honorable Mr. Justice N. Santosh Hegde.
In 2005, he joined Linklaters LLP and worked at its offices in London and Dubai. From 2007 to 2013, he worked for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in London. In 2013, he relocated his practice to India and has since been based in New Delhi and Mumbai, helping overseas investors navigate the cross-border issues involved in doing business in India.
