Marketing and Brand in Seattle, WA
I help companies, organizations, and people clarify their purpose, communicate distinctively, and build true value. I focus on developing breakthrough business and marketing strategies, distinctive positioning and messaging, impactful brand frameworks, thought leadership content, and strategic experiential engagement.
Previously at Microsoft, I headed up marketing practices focused on global audiences, positioning and branding, thought leadership and strategic content, experiential marketing, global executive programs and events, customer engagement, and influencer relations. For 13 years I led Microsoft’s CEO Summit, convening CEOs and thought leaders to explore the critical issues impacting global business.
As head of marketing at several technology start-ups, I launched Visio and The Learning Company. While consulting for clients such as KPMG, venture capital firm August Capital, Apple, Intel, Stanford University, and Positively For Kids, I built business and marketing foundations that established enduring company and product brands.
My community service has included board member roles with StolenYouth, Stanford University Alumni Association, Stanford Club of Western Washington, Seattle Children's Home, Washington Software Association, and the NW Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in English.
