Data Scientist and Writer in Karachi, Pakistan
I spent most of my life in Karachi where I went to school. There was a break in between when I spent a year in Islamabad (1999) as an intern for a software developer.
This was followed by a transfer to Middlesex University, London (2005). I lived in London from 2005-2010 with a few short breaks to Pakistan in between.
I did my Masters in Big Data from Queen Mary, University of London.
Blogging and Writing: So far I have written for the Friday Times, Spider and Express Tribune. I have also covered the Karachi Literature Festival in 2012.
Extra Curricular: Participated in the first Pul-e-Jawan Summit in Kabul 2011. Pul-e-Jawan was the first youth panel comprising of young delegates from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Participated in the first Innovation Lab organized by BytesforAll in October 2011. Built a crisis mapping solution along with my team members.Co-Curator of the Indo-Pak Social Media Mela 2012 in Karachi.
