What I’ve Done

I’m originally from North Brunswick, NJ. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 with a B.S.E and an M.S.E. in Materials Science and Engineering. While at Penn, I interned at Rutgers University, AMI Partners, and L’Oréal.

What I Do Now

I’m currently a graduate student working for Professor Dan Steingart at Princeton University in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I’m currently researching methods of non-destructively interrogating the mechanical properties of battery systems. This video shows one of the more interesting phenomena that I've researched, namely, bouncing alkaline batteries.

I’ve also worked on projects with Professor Stephen Chou, including directed self-assembly of diblock copolymers, and nanostructured silicon anodes for lithium-ion batteries.

I have a few hobbies that I partake in my free time, including playing in a band, DJing, and Swing dancing.
