She is a media expert from Kazakhstan that stands for the alternative sources of information and development of public television in her country. She began her way in journalism at the age of 14. A graduate of Kazakh State University in journalism, she worked for different media outlets covering social, economical and political issues. Ten years ago she was appointed Executive director of the National Association of Broadcasters of Kazakhstan. As a leader of a NGO and a member of the governmental Commissions on broadcasting, she serves to implement into life the principle of pluralism of media and media standards in the field of broadcasting and . She speaks out against media monopolization and promotes equal rights for all participants of media markets.
