• Empathize with what others need to do their job. This is key to my collaboration style and why I am good at managing difficult conversations.
• Validate my assumptions, specifically with the technical teams. This ensures the developers on my team feel heard and valued.
• Do an “incredible job” of seeing the end goal and honing in on the next steps so MVP features are functional and can be built up.
• Present to the organization in a “super-engaging” way that quickly brings people up to speed.
• Do my homework. If I'm advocating for a feature, there is strong reasoning and evidence behind the recommendation.
