Hello!

My name is Shóna and I help people to decorate their world with glimmers of joy!

I am a visual artist based in Ireland. I am a huge advocate for self care, acceptance, therapy and love in all it's forms. I started to share my art with the world back in 2020 as a way to bring some joy into my own world during lockdowns (along with a million other people!) and when the pandemic died down a bit, I felt a bit lost. The internet is a wonderful place, especially for creatives like me, but it just seemed to be very “boxed in”. I don't tend to fit into categories - I am a little bit of everything, a spectrum, just like everyone else!

So I started a small online store for my artwork called The Glimmer Apothecary; where you can find little bits of joy to decorate your home or express your style. We are not limited to any particular “theme” - if it makes you feel happy or brings meaning to you, that's all that matters! I dabble in lots of different art forms; textile design, patterns, art prints, stickers, clothing, home decor items, trinkets and one-of-a-kind handmade items.
