What's up? Welcome to my blog! My name is Shonda and i'm 26 years old. My husband Kenny is my better half. We are high school sweethearts - started dating at 16..engaged at 19..and married at 23! Kenny joined the USMC (infantry) over 3 years ago. We relocated from WV/MD to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Our son, Kai Camron, was born by csection on January 11, 2012. After Kai was born Kenny really started to rethink his career in the military. Deployments and long stretches of time away for training were no longer appealing to him. He threw me into the military lifestyle and while it took me awhile to adjust, I learned to love it. Now he is changing careers and throwing our family back into civilian life. This blog is to document our family as we start this new chapter in our lives. I'm sure it will be a bumpy ride but as long as we're all together and happy..well then there's nothing more I could ask for. (:
