About Me

I have always felt like a wanderer, unnoticeably floating in existence. On a mission to find security in my identity, I became engorged in psychological phenomena and personality tests like the Myers-Briggs, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, and the Enneagram. The test that stood out to me the most was the Enneagram Test, "a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions".

Enneagram 7w6 is my defining personality type. Fascinated by the psychology of people and the vast amount of modern personality tests, I have aspired to find my unique, fundamental traits. Born and raised in the suburbs of Suwanee, Georgia, I lived an ordinary lifestyle as a Korean-American student bred by immigrant parents. The mundanity of waking up at 8 AM, attending school until 3 PM, playing with my neighbors until 8 PM, and eating family dinner at 9 PM impelled me to search for a zestful life. I indulged myself in ice skating, swimming, tennis, cheerleading, dance, and the arts (pottery, drawing and painting, sculpting, and videography) to keep my mind occupied. During high school, I joined a Mental Health Awareness Non-profit(Project Mental Health Matters) and started an environmental club in my hometown. Through these initiatives, I was able to deepen my love for advocacy and service. Coming into UGA, I wanted to continue this trend and have done so by joining student organizations like the Student Alumni Council and ServeUGA. I enjoy spending time with my family and tasting new cuisines(I hope to retire and become a food connoisseur one day). Every Christmas, my family and I seek new adventures such as snowboarding down the slopes of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, or hiking the peaks of Banff, Canada. My love for nature and outdoor activities has morphed me into an adrenaline junkie, always looking for the next stimulating experience.

The enneagram 7 wing 6 personality type has a deep-rooted fear of missing out on invigorating and exciting people or events. They are driven by their desire to feel fulfilled and find joy in the small things that come their way. As a 7w6 I strive to create meaningful relationships with others, be productive, indulge in new ideas and experiences, and partake in thrilling events.
