After graduating with my bachelors in Multi-Disciplinary studies, and taking on the career of a junior high teacher I found the excitement and buzz of the retail industry calling me back. I returned to the store I managed through college and worked my way up to trainging traveling manager and district manager. Nothing that I experienced was set up easily for me, and training greatly lacked as all my promotions seemed to happen hap-hazardly. I appreciated this, the opportunity to explore, learn from SO MANY mistakes, and still make it to the top of the food chain.

In the dusk of 2012 I went from part time stepmonster to full time mommy when I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, and this upcoming May we are welcoming a second daughter to our family. This makes it difficult to return to the job that required me to be out of town all but five days a month. In the meantime I am traveling the world with my husband, blogging about my retail experiences, and working on a series of retail sales and management training workbooks that I hope to have in the process of publishing by the end of 2015!
