Hello, I’m Robert. I’m Retired but still working and living in Denver, CO. I am a fan of music, dance, and DIY. I’m also interested in shopping and movies. I started playing the guitar in 1964 after seeing the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. Like all young guitar players I had dreams of being a rock n roll legend. Thank God I learned a trade just in case. Over the next 50 plus years I became an expert woodworker. I continued to play. About 10 years ago I started buying distressed guitars and fixing them. Extending the life or giving them a rebirth. I got an Federal Student Loan to get a formal education as a degreed Luthier. I soon realized I wasn't college student material. I am continually reading articles, attending 2-3 day classes and fixing guitars. My woodworking skills and my understanding of how things work has got me here. I want to open a repair shop that also sells used instruments with a place for musicians to meet and jam with other musicians.
