Music is magic. I was raised with understanding the aspect of making money as a Musician by my parents being Professional Entertainers. I can collaborate with anyone having natural courtesy, candor and ear to voice sultry adaptation with my main intention on story telling or communication. There's nothing better than than talking a Pirate into opening up the buried treasure chest and polishing off some of his precious jewels interested in what I'm going to sing next as if I make jewelry. Painting is a tool I've used in large scale to bring beauty into the dismal surroundings often associated with living in poverty which I refuse to embrace. I got these big ideas all the time, an I.Q. of 183 as one of the first kids in the G.A.T.E. Program launched for higher education and my Genius falls on the Philosophical/Analytical side. I'm obsessed with words and community. No one can do it alone. In my Creations there is conviction behind the passion I live in the shadows of. My work shines long before I see it and remains a staple long after I was ever there. I'm thankful for recognizing that importance, knowing through it only, I can become just as important to it's fans and following. Genghis Blond is my recording label, SHOVELeaner is a name I use as a Vocalist based on the title and main character promoting my first Fiction Novel branched from my Spoken Word, Prose and Poetry, Performance Art, Home Recording, short films and songs of a troubled woman that blames beauty. My blacklight murals speak for themselves. Recently I switched genre and became a HipHoptress naturally as my lyrics have a flow I'm comfortable with because I do the work. Not just on weekends ALWAYS working the words. Always hearing the sexiest tones. Always seeing brighter colors and darker lines and still don't feel the need to change things just create my own. With others it always matters more. But I also can't feel alone when I'm busy buzzing on a small piece of a large scale project. I noticed visiting old friends that if I was there for a bit I left some art I created scraping stuff to do it, which found it's way to a wall and not the trash. I have a youtube channel Krystal Pistol Holmes if you scroll down you can see some videos Soundcloud/Shoveleaner will fetch up some new stuff to enjoy and Google+ for pictures of art. I'm going to upload bits of my book so stay posted for that link. I'm new at networking this way, I was busy creating stuff to show you.
