Hey there👋, I’m Shreyas. 🤓

I traded in my Computer Science👨🏼‍💻 degree for the real currency💰: building thriving online communities. Turns out, debugging code wasn't as thrilling to me as building online friendships. Now I'm a community builder, wrangling folks on the Internet like a digital sheepdog 🐕. Currently based in Dubai🇦🇪 but mostly all over the place.

My journey began in the open source world as the Open Source Initiative's first-ever intern. I've volunteered building communities with the Mozilla Foundation for almost 11 years. I even led a community for community managers in India.

Education, building developer communities, technology and travel photography excites me. I'm also passionate about championing the Open Web like it's my knightly duty(although, typing is more my forte than swordfight..the pen is mightier than sword or something..)⚔

I'm a mentor for Mozilla Open Leaders where I help empower future tech heroes with the secrets of open-source collaboration.

Worked on the Internet Health Report with a team of amazing volunteers from around the world. (Spoiler alert: The report is fine, but the internet needs more cat videos)🐈
