Shruti Jagirdar is a Programme and Impact Measurement Officer at the World Food Programme (WFP), where she strengthens the organization's ability to address root causes of hunger through the multi-million dollar Changing Lives Transformation Fund.

With over 12 years of experience in international development and public policy, she specializes in:

• Research & Evidence: Identifying promising interventions and translating them into actionable insights
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Designing feedback systems and analyzing program impacts
• Policy Advocacy: Building partnerships with decision-makers and scaling evidence-based programs

Previously, she served as Policy Manager at MIT's J-PAL South Asia, Legislative Assistant to an Indian MP, and Researcher at the Brookings Institution. Her work as an independent consultant has included projects with UNICEF, UN ESCAP, and the Gates Foundation.

Currently based in Rome, Italy.
