SHUBHAM SARKAR is an internationally acclaimed violinist from Delhi, who is learning under the valuable guidance of Padmashree Pt. Bhajan Sopori and Dr. Santosh Nahar( Violin Maestro). He has been awarded prominent young violinist of Delhi by well-known maestro Padma Bhushan Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.

He started learning violin at the age of 11 from renowned Violinist Shri S.L Kandara. At the tender age of 13 he gave his first violin concert infront of a huge crowd in Delhi and earned appreciation from the crowd.

Award And Concert

Shubham has got several championship awards in the competition of Zonal level, District level and also in State level since 2008, organized by Directorate of Education, Delhi Government. He performed in “PULSE” – Music festival of AIIMS, Delhi.

Last Year he performed violin solo recital at the prestigious Taj Mahotsav, Festival and was highly appreciated and awarded for his concert.

He also performed in the prestigious World Music Day in Mauritius which was also telecasted by mbc 2, National TV channel of Mauritius, he performed in ICC (Indian cultural Centre), Bangkok.

Shubham has recently performed during the celebration of 71st Independence of India, 15th August, 2017 in the Cultural Centre of Embassy of India, Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Shubham’s performance was a moment of great pride and satisfaction for the Mission as he earned kudos and appreciations from all High-level Guests present in the event.

He performed in front of our Honorable PM Mr. Narendra Modi and also international delegates in Jalandhar during the Summit of “Heart of Asia”.

He performed in many prestigious occasions last to last year 2016 like- IIT, Delhi music festival; Delhi international Art festival held at Centre Park, Connaught place, Delhi.

Recently he gave his violin recital with his team of all Russian artists on 69th Republic Day Celebration in Embassy of India and collaborated Indian Classical Music with Western Classical Music under his direction.

At this young age he has given his violin recital in more then 10 countries which includes- Austria, Belgium, Russia, Israel, Tajikistan, Thailand to name a few.

He is also a Western Classical Trained Violinist and is a Grade 4 violinist from Trinity College, London.

He is always blessed and appreciated by the renowned maestros as -- Pt Debu chaudhuri, Pt Bhajan sopori , Pt. Barun Pal, Pt Vijay shankar Mishra , Pt Tarun Bhattacharya, Vidushi Sumitra guha, Vidushi Savita Devi to name a few.
