Taipei City, Taiwan.
Born in Taiwan, a littlie Island on the Pacific, I always try to reach out for the world and step out of comfortable zone. In fact, this represents my life – always challenge myself! Almost a tone deaf (it would be a disaster to karaoke with me), I picked violin as my interest. It was really bad at first, but through intensive practicing, I can play songs using no more than first position. Doing poorly in sport (when selecting 25 out of 30 for running competition, I was always the 5 left), I challenge myself with mountain hiking, gorge-walking and badminton. I just conquered two mountains over 3000 meters in Taiwan, and my next target is the Jade Mountain, the highest mountain in Taiwan with 3952 meters in height.
Last 5 years, I have been working for Texas Instruments (TI). Being a part of a company delivering world-changing products is very exciting. My favorite part in this job is the freedom to bring up ideas and make your ideas come true, and I thus have opportunities to launch several automation projects for TI Taiwan. Since college, I have been involved in different volunteer works under the belief that seemingly unimportant works may make impacts in some ways. Pursing careers making impacts to the society also drives me to study MBA in McCombs.
In every stage of my life, I have built up firm friendships, and I’m looking forward to making lifelong bonds at McCombs as well.
