Previously a Business Change Manager at Accenture, I am now a trained Yoga & Mindfulness therapist for mental health. I'm also a qualified Active Birth Pregnancy Yoga teacher. I have been teaching the MindedYoga style of Yoga since 2012. In 2014 I went on to train and study Yoga Therapy for the Mind under Heather Mason at the Minded Institute in London. The professional training provided a rigorous scientific approach combining philosophical, neurobiological, psychological and physiological perspectives on the mind, body and brain.

As a Minded Yoga Therapist I am trained to offer specialist group classes, one-on-one yoga therapy, and teach the renowned 8-week Minded Yoga Therapy course for Stress, Anxiety & Depression.

I have a 1st class degree in Psychology and Social Anthropology and wish to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the near future.

Based on my personal background, interest and skills my specialist area of interest is Perinatal Mental Health though I also work with a range of stress related and other mental health conditions. I'm an Ambassador for the charity PANDAS which offers help, support & advice to those suffering with Perinatal Mental Health conditions.

Using my background & experience I'm adapting the Minded Yoga Therapy model to create specific, scientific and evidence based Yoga & Mindfulness Therapy interventions for the Perinatal Mental Health population. I hope to research and pilot the interventions to ensure they are appropriate and applicable. I am also currently providing supervision for graduates on the latest Minded Institute Yoga Therapy training.

I have 8 years of corporate experience working for Accenture, one the worlds largest and most well regarded management consultancy firms. I joined the company on their esteemed graduate programme & was promoted at every level from analyst through to manager.

I left the organisation in 2008 as a manager to become a full time mother and pursue a new career direction.
