It has been said that the truly blessed do what they love and love what they do.

By that definition, I feel beyond fortunate to pursue my passion daily. At the age of 22, I had the vision to create a software development firm. Leaving nothing to chance, I systematically chose positions that would provide me with experience in all facets of a software business: development, customer service, training, executive management, finance, sales, and marketing. That quest enabled me to be the president of one small publicly-listed software company, the Chief Operating Officer of another, work at NeXT Computer side-by-side with industry visionaries, and then to found InfoStreet.

The mission at InfoStreet was larger than life. The year was 1994, browsers were still in their infancy, and Windows 3.1 had clearly manifested itself as the prevalent operating system (O/S) of the Desktop. For me, however, the computer world was too great to be confined to the tethered world of Windows and Desktops.

I strongly believed that the ONLY operating system that could beat Windows was no operating system at all. Thus, marching on with the "O/S is irrelevant" motto, years prior to the words "Cloud" and "SaaS" being coined, our mission was to build a system that ran solely in the browser, complete with applications that live in the sky and could be used at any time, from anywhere, using any device connected to the Internet.

Today, the cloud is a resounding success. So successful that users have several cloud solutions and need a cloud-based desktop to contain all their cloud apps and files.

Our vision has now come full circle by offering SkyOne, a free patented cloud desktop; SkyAppMarket, an app marketplace where a business can choose from the best cloud apps in the market; and SkyLogin, a login solution where users log in to their SkyOne and readily use any of their SkyAppMarket apps.

I'm extremely proud to see that InfoStreet has emerged as a leading cloud app provider, and our long-cherished mission has provided easy-to-use cloud apps to hundreds of thousands of users.

Success is never achieved without a good team. My largest achievement is surrounding myself with a team at InfoStreet that epitomizes intelligence, passion, loyalty, and dedication.
