Paula Campbell

My name is Paula Campbell and as far as I know I'm currently the only person in New York with more than one illness. I have multiple diseases and one has no cure. At the age of nine I was diagnosed with Scoliosis, Lordosis and Myasthenia Gravis (the one that has no cure). At the age of fourteen I was given my first wheelchair because I had a Spinal Cord Injury due to said surgery and a case of spasticity. That would later ruin my social and dating life.Despite missing out on my eighth I was able to go to high school where I found my love for digital media in my junior year. Not knowing what I wanted to do when I was going into college, but I'm glad I had that class. Out of all four sisters I'm the only one in a wheelchair. I'm the only one in my family like this. I may look like just a normal person until I've told you my story or you've read about. But one thing I don't ask for is for anyone to feel sorry for me. I want to be treated like a normal person, yes it might take me a while to do something but I'll get it done in my own special way.
