Majo has been an accomplished performance from the age of 11. She began her singing career competing in local competitions and moving up to placing in the top ten of The Shot where she performed at the Sony Centre of Performing Arts. Before then she had performed in front of 2,000 attendees of the 2016 Canada Day celebration in Kingsmen park, opening for Alex Veliz. Majo has since released an EP titled “Sideline 4” and that has reached over 35,000 streams across all platforms without any major marketing or promotion. Her music has lead her to perform at an app launch hosted by Daniel Caesar at Love Child Social House which was attended by over 300 people. A year and a half of success has now brought her to collaborating with various artists and musicians who are now in the midst of helping her create her second EP. Majo is a passionate and unique alternative/r&b artist that promotes individuality, going against the grain, and representing her Pakistani background that rarely gets a spotlight in the entertainment industry. She is now preparing for a launch of her new EP and gathering visuals for the coming year. Her sound is being solidified in her process of creating new music and making new connections. She’s excited to play more shows and connect with her loyal and incoming fans.
