Siddharth Gupta

I am an engineering student pursuing Electronics & Communication. My interest lies in software, and programming. I love the Web, and the amazing technologies associated with it.

I strongly believe the best way to learn a new language or new technology is to create something with it. That's why I have my own personal projects built on a variety of technologies.

I love Python (and it's web framework Django). Have experience with the Google App Engine, currently trying Heroku. I also find Meteor (built on Node.JS) fascinating, and will soon be working on a major project using that. I have also worked with PHP, MySQL in the past, and also have a good amount of experience with frontend frameworks like JQuery (+ Mobile), the Twitter Bootstrap, Handlebars. I am currently learning native iOS development using Objective-C / Cocoa.

In my free time, you can find me listening to Trance, and enjoying movies. I also play the piano, and have had my share of composing music, and creating full tracks with FL Studio. I enjoy reading and digging up information on the Internet using my Google-fu ;)

I am always keen to work on stuff that I find interesting, and stuff that I think will make people's lives better.
