I am a software developer at Microsoft working on Bing Maps. I have good knowledge of C#, Javascript and 3D Math. I have worked both frontend as well as backend and across Web, Desktop (Windows) & Mobile (Windows, Android) platforms but with more emphasis on the Web Frontend. For past 1 year I have been working on upcoming release of web based offering of Bing Maps (http://www.bing.com/maps). This work is heavily focused on javascript and html5. In our team we don't write code in javascript directly. Instead we write it in typescript that gets transpiled to javascript. We don't use any 3rd party frameworks or libraries like angularjs, backbone, jquery etc. but I have some experience with knockoutjs. I work on various features but am mostly responsible for the rendering of the core map control, its user-interaction, performance issues and exposing an API that allows other developers to build features such as directions or search on top of the map.
