Hey,

First of all thanks for stopping by my profile. My name is Sidharth (popularly known as SID) born and brought up in New Delhi, India. I am an IT professional; founder of BAExpertz with a great amount of passion in sports, travelling and loves to go on long drives countrysidell

I have been running marathons for the last 7 years and now wish to run marathons in other countries in the near future. I was dianosed with cancer a month after I ran a full marathon in Mumbai and 4 days after I played the first match of the corporate cricket tournament. In March 2014 I went through a life saving surgery and during the process I lost a kidney, a ureter, 3 arteries, 4 veins, 1 lymph node and some peripheral tissues. Being in bed for 2 months gave me enough time to think and start a blog to interact and motivate other such people. I started with my walks after 3 months and eventually ran the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in Nov 2014 and Standard Chartered Mumbai Full Marathon in Jan 2015. Finally 333 days after the surgery I hit the cricket arena and played my first match. This was the moment when I realized that probably life is getting back to normal and in the same state where I left it an year ago. I am currently undergoing scans and quite hopeful that doctors will declare me cancer free soon :)
