Dr. Sidney A. Spector, MD, PhD, is a Board Certified Neurologist with a post doctorate degree in Kinesiological Sciences, currently actively practicing Neurology part-time at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Spector has spent the last 14 years as a medical consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, providing expertise and strategic support for early and late phase Drug Development, Medical Affairs and Business Development. Examples include development of Advisory Boards to gather strategic feedback for clinical drug development; support of Clinical Operations to identify key thought leaders and trialists to participate in drug development studies; preparation of Regulatory documents in the drug development process; provide expertise to identify new indications for pre- and post-marketed medicines; provide Medical Affairs support to engage key opinion leaders regarding research and education opportunities; and support Business Development functions to identify novel, pre-clinical and clinical targets for in-license opportunities.

In addition, Dr. Spector has performed over 1000 independent medical evaluations over the past 13 years in the areas of workman’s compensation and personal injury, and has provided expert testimony in depositions and arbitrations. With active medical licenses in Arizona, Oregon and Washington, Dr. Spector provides expert medical opinion to defense and plantiffs' attorneys, insurers and State workman’s compensation departments in the context of IMEs, Fitness for Duty and Short and Long Term Disability Insurance examinations throughout the United States. In addition, Dr. Spector lectures on related topics including work- and sports-related concussion, carpal tunnel syndrome, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal disorders of the neck and lower back, traumatic peripheral nerve injury, migraine, seizures, stroke, multiple sclerosis and neurodegenerative disorders.
