I was born into this world on October 20th, 2000. I grew up in suburban Ohio, supported and loved by my family. Besides theatre, swimming was always something I was passionate about. Since I was five years old it had been my world. Eventually, I was swimming for a US team and regularly participating in meets. It was one way I could release daily stress and negative energy.

In seventh grade, I started taking writing seriously. It was something I'd always done and I wanted to improve myself. I did so by joining Power Of The Pen (a writing competition specified for middle school students in Ohio). Writing soon replaced my love for swimming when I could no longer do it. I'd been having lots of complications with the sport, both mentally and physically, so I had to let it go.

I used to think depression, self harm, losing parents, and eating disorders were all normal parts of a healthy teenage girl's life. Now I realize they are not, and I'm slowly healing myself through music and other types of art. I believe every moment is a new opportunity, and you should take that however it goes.

Overall, I'm nothing special. I still don't like myself and I doubt I ever will. I just hope that you will. Maybe I can help you like yourself and show you you're not alone in your mind. Maybe this is all psychobabble and I'm not making any sense. Either way- I just want to be worth something.
